Refugees are people from all over the world who have fled their homes because of war, human rights violations, political unrest, and persecution in order to seek safety in another country. Some return home when it’s safe to do so, while others are forced to resettle.

The United States has long been a beacon of hope for refugees, but the current U.S. administration, citing unfounded security concerns, has put a travel ban in place, slashed refugee arrivals to their lowest levels ever, and separated families while criminalizing desperate people seeking asylum. The current U.S. refugee policy puts asylum seekers in danger instead of offering the protection they are desperate for, all while doing little to address the root causes of why they left home.

Please lend your voice to asylum seekers today.
